That's sums up mags for me. More concerned about sunderland than the cricket. George is going for all the games and their is always more Sunderland fans there anyway.

I will admit i am more concerned about Sunderland than cricket mainly though because cricket is s***.

The one who cropped the line about season tickets sums up their utter cuntery for me. Scoffing at 'lifelong fan and season ticket holder since 1992' sounds great when you dont keep 'when he returned to his native South Tyneside after working for years in the pub trade in London' in the same sentence.....

Yeah.  He should try running a pub in London and see if he can get to games as well; it's a ridiculously life-consuming job.

Just had a look on RTG to gauge their opinion on last night. Surprise, surprise there are loads of threads on how Carroll was shite and every media outlet/football fan is wrong about his performance and prospects as well as quite a few bigging up Jordan Henderson, a man who would've probably had more impact warming the bench

Seems they've done away with the red and white specs and just had their eyes lazered.

just a sample from The Sun...

With the exception of striker Andy Carroll and a late cameo from Adam Johnson, there was no evidence to believe the Three Lions have enough fresh blood to boost the challenge for honours on the European and World stage over the next few years.

Long balls, poor touches, slack passes - it was a familiar story.

Jordan Henderson was lost in central midfield on his debut while Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs also struggled.

:)

 That sentence sums them up really.

fremdschämend

The only word that goes close to describing their behaviour on that sad forum of their's has to be borrowed from German !

that's awesome  :iamatwat:

packing so much definition and sentiment into one word. wished i learned german at school, seems dead efficient using one word instead of 2 sentences

After Darren Bent's car was bottled by alleged "Newcastle fans" it seems strange that Northumbria Police have not been informed of the incident. If my car was being vandalised by yobs and there was someone inside it I would have phoned the police.

When their former chairman and manager were attacked in a quayside Indian restaurant it turned out to be a pissed off macum who set about them.

Darren Bent and his team mates push their luck the way they pose around Newcastle city centre and it's suburbs. Someone in their club should tell them they should stay away as it is unlikely they will be welcomed. Fortunately (and somewhat surprisingly) they have been given an easy ride so far.

True Faith posed the question how Shearer or Carroll would be treat if they parked up their ostentatious motors and went socialising in Sunderland ? (I know - don't laugh so loud). They'd be eaten alive by the heathens who populate the place.

Still as long as their fat manager spends every night boozing in north Newcastle and their players also refuse to dirty their expensive shoes on the shitty streets of wearyside, I suppose we'll have to put up with them in the region's capital.

Maybe they should just pipe down a bit and keep a lower profile if they've got any sense.

Our own MD was spat at repeatedly by some of our so called fans when he was out for a meal with his wife, so we're not really in a position to judge on that.
