Cajun Posted July 11, 2010 Share Posted July 11, 2010 I know he wouldn't be available for the first couple of months but if he does sign we really need to try and shift Smith, surely for a nominal fee/free someone would give him a decent enough wage for him to leave knowing he isn't wanted. I know people think there is no chance but I bet he would have some managers who rate him or think he is worth the punt. His bridges are obliterated. agreed, and to MA it's a good gamble 'cause he'd be able to sell gosling for more than the tribunal fee should it come to that This. He’s out until December isn’t he? Agree with Cajun that we need to get rid of Smith if we get him, we can't have him, Barton, Guthrie, Nolan and Gosling on our books.
