He'll be expecting large wages when you consider the clubs we're competing with and his pedigree. Never mind the fact that we already have an international level left back and do not really need another at this time. Wish he would just stay, tbh, but he wants a new challenge. Signing a decent player would be stupid, surely that's the whole reason why we haven't signed anyone yet because there are only decent players available. I feel our starting eleven is good enough that we don't need to sign anymore stop gaps and should be looking to sign players who will improve the team instantly i.e Ben Arfa.
