TRC
Didn't Chelsea bid £30m for him in Jan? I think he's over rated personally,
taxfree
Didn't he score a pretty decent goal against us? Yeah, I think we are taking the Ryan Taylor approach. Not to mention Perch.
Ketsbaia
Blaise Matuidi quotes on being linked with us... http://www.parolesdefoot.com/une/12728/asse-matuidi-dement-pour-newcastle/ "Matuidi denies Newcastle" "My future? This question comes up frequently, but this isn't news. Newcastle? This is just a rumour, I'll let my agent deal with that." "Do I use too many questions? Yes, probably. Am I going to stop? No chance"
jdckelly
on long, i haven't seen him much for reading but when he's played for Ireland he's impressed me, especially Tuesdays performance vs Uruguay where he was very very impressive, worth a gamble imho but shouldn't be only striker signed
sugoinufc
Didn't Chelsea bid £30m for him in Jan? I think he's over rated personally, 30 mill is silly. 12 would alright....you don´t get much proven striker for less...

Pilko
Pleased that our scouting seems more thorough these days. Long gone are the days when Roeder would go easyjetting round Europe looking at players way out of his price range and the only alternative was asking Terry Mac if he'd seen anyone good in the Pontins League on a Thursday night. For his size he is good in the air and is deceptively strong. Before Christmas he was struggling for form and many Reading fans would have happily let him go. However since then his game has improved BUT sometimes his first touch is poor and what looks likes an easy chance is often missed. Cannot fault his effort or his bravery. BeloEmre
Alan Pardew is relishing a dive into the transfer market but the Newcastle boss will put his plans on ice until Barclays Premier League survival is assured. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1372344/Alan-Pardew-puts-Newcastle-transfer-talk-backburner.html#ixzz1IHqXgBPO Copenhagen left-back Oscar Wendt has confirmed his agent is in talks with several clubs across Europe over a move this summer, with Premier League giants Liverpool and Newcastle and Championship leaders QPR all involved. http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/859769-oscar-wendt-talks-begin-with-liverpool-newcastle-and-qpr

Revolution Number 9
Newcastle United are considering making a move to bring back striker Craig Bellamy. The 31-year-old Welsh star is currently on loan at Cardiff City having been offloaded by Manchester City last year. I'd take him back in an instant to be fair. Thespence
He has been poor at Cardiff imo. Of course Jones playing him on the left wing/midfield in a 442 has not helped Bellamy become the standout player of the Championship which most of us thought he would be when he joined Cardiff.
