Aye already been posted. Seems to make out that Penarol don't believe that Bencancur bloke has anything from us as they've seen no documentation of our supposed offer.

Loan or permanent?

Permanent.

for 6m quid no thanks.Of course the overinflated price is probably related to his nationality but Mancienne didn`t impress too much  while he was at Wolves on loan. .

I'd be hard pushed to even take him for half of that.

It's a shame he's out of our price range, but Mancini has said Onuoha is surplus to requirements at City. He'd plug the RB problem perfectly.

citeh hardly need the cash, a loan may suit them ?

Would be quality, get the feeling Hughton is happy with Simpson and Perch though.

Possibly. I just think he'd be perfect for us. Would give us much needed athleticism at the back and can play both full back positions aswell as CB.

I haven't given up hope on Perch yet  apart from one rash challenge early on I thought he did really well in the Deportivo game. That said he was playing centre back and was helped out by Colo who was awesome.

He still has a chance to prove him imo.

Newcastle United are rumoured to be interested in making a last gasp bid for Portsmouth attacking midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng. The former Tottenham man is currently a target for Serie A sides Genoa and Lazio but the south coast side is waiting to see which side is willing to offer most for the Ghana international so as to help ease their financial woes.

After the game, French TV channel Canal+ broadcast comments from Marseille president Jean-Claude Dassier inferring that a loan deal for Ben Arfa to SJP would be finalised this coming week. A fee of €800K for a one-season loan, with Newcastle paying the player's wages and retaining an option to complete a permanent transfer has been claimed.
