Fucking hope Smith goes to West ham like

Would love that to be true. Not only would we get shot of a waste of space ("group of lads" value aside) it would also vindicate the view that Allardyce is a clueless fat bastard.

So a dull read in the sunday sun. Ranger can go, Gameiro still top target from a 5 man list that are all foreign and Gervinho interest now cooled

Where's that from? Couldn't see anything in the Sunday Sun?

Thanks, didn't see that before now.

Douglas is still saying on Twitter that Gervinho is on that five man list.

Wonder if this could be a final desperate attempt to get him to buck his ideas up. Threaten to sell him.

Aye, I was thinking that.  Douglas certainly seems close to Pardew.  Could be a ploy

The article says the club feel it has to be permanent and have rejected loan bids. I think they've got that totally wrong.....a loan is exactly what he needs, so he can be all about the football again. For £1m, we might be letting go a future England striker. He shouldn't be written off so early in his career. Does sound like a twat though.

I agree. A year of first team football is exactly what he needs

I recently watched a couple of the early games from the Championship season and Ranger looked pretty good in them - much better than he has at any time this season IMO.  He has just not kicked on - whether the Championship is his level or the 5 year contract made him lazier, who knows.

Continues on all sides of Europe's emerging talents of the race for Standard Liege: With Axel Witsel in Italian orbit remains in the crosshairs of the big clubs in the Serie A central defender, can also be used as a marker and side Eliaquim Mangala (20), Member of the French National Under-21. Closely followed by Newcastle and Fenerbahçe, Juventus target would now be over, as reported by Record, also from Benfica. A Trigoria are looking for an accommodation for Jeremy Menez. The Frenchman was at loggerheads with Montella, but the arrival of Luis Enrique should not change the situation because the relationships with the fans Capitoline are compromised.

The attacker has many admirers in England and Newcastle has already done a survey for him, but now in red and yellow house has seen a new idea, Menez offer to Arsenal in exchange for fellow countryman Gael Clichy.

The French defender has a contract that expires in 2012 and if it does not renew the short would be put on the market that do not want to lose the Gunners on a free transfer after a year.

He was in the casino playing 500 pound spins the other week, therefore, we should sell him  always had potential, but IMO, he will never fulfil that because he'd rather be a gangster than a footballer
