What kind of bid do you think should be accepted for our current players assuming someone ponies up the lolly? Factor in potential, resale value, off the field issues, squad depth, injury records and the ability to replace the player. Heres my list: GK Harper 5 million Krul 7.5 million Forster 10 million Def R.Taylor 2 million Simpson 3 million Enrique 25 million S Taylor 15 Million Collocini 15 million Williamson - 8 million Kadar 8 million Mid Barton 3 million Smith 2 million Guthrie 12 million Jonas 15 million Routledge 10 million Nolan 5 million Fwd Shola 3 million Loven 3 million Best 1 million Carroll 20 million Shocking. Forster worth more than Krul, no. Carroll's worth £20 million?! Why? And pretty much the rest of it ... why do you value some of them so highly? A lot of players have done well this season, in the CCC wait and see what they are like next term. There's a lot of debate about who is better right now Krul or Forster. Forster has had a hell of a season with Norwich, there's teams sniffing around after him, he's English . Krul on the other hand has been a bench warmer all season at NUFC, he's largerly done well when called upon, but not had the play time and did not excel to the same degree as Forster did this year when he went out on loan in previous seasons. If we could only keep one, I'm torn which one I would keep tbh. Forster though right now has probably the most sale value of the two, that's not to say he's a better player. Read other replies for my Carrol silly money price. Again you use the word value, I would facepalm that, that's is exactly not what I meant by these figures. Routledge 10 million Forster 10 million Carroll - 20 million The valuations on Jonas and Guthrie are worse. Market valuation, as in what you'd accept. This entire is an utter f***ing disgrace and an homage to the nonsense that has the southern hacks drooling into their wireless notebooks. You'd accept no less than £15m for Jonas, for crying out loud? STFU Ronaldo seriously pot and kettle coming from someone who generally talks the biggest bollocks of anyone on this board. And yet again this is not what I would accept figures either, it's Silly money thresholds. I would accept no less than 7 - 10 million for Jonas, depending on being able to secure a replacement. People often say I would take this or that for a player but at the end of the day you've got to find someone to take the place and there's no gaurentee that you can use all the money you just made from selling the player. Yeah you can't put a price on that, this is a guy that can break someone's jaw with one left hook, if he fails to make it in the PL, the club could make a fortune from him in the ring. It is utterly ridiculous Phil, no argument there. Like it or not though, some of our players will be sought after in the summer, what I was hamfistedly trying to do, was get a handle on the figure people would snatch someone's hand off if they offered us that money for. For example if someone came along and offered you 1 million for Ryan Taylor, would you get his coat for him and shove him out the door, I know I would. The way I read it is that its the point where you wouldn't even need to think about it.
