He wasnt going to sell Suarez cos the fans would have lynched him so the next saleable asset that he could get away with selling is Carroll. On top of that they now have Borini so Carroll would have been a very expensive bench warmer. Far better to get what they can now. They had Dyer/Sinclair/Routledge either side of him. Graham isn't the quickest but he's got movement. Anyway I don't think Liverpool have that little pace upfront. They have wasted so much money and it will take some recovering from - look at us as a very good example. Their squad really does not look that good . Unrealistic expectations will surely make the job even harder. I personally think we will finish above them again this year and will be very disappointed if we dont.
