Guest neesy111
So Liverpools main sponsor Standard Chartered laundered over $2.5b with Iran, shares are plummeting now....
STM
So Liverpool finished 7th last year, which wouldn't be acceptable this year. So in an effort to finish higher, Rodgers is trying to buy players from his old club, who actually finished below Liverpool in the first place. Great logic Bren. What's worst is that the one player from Swansea who would have improved them, knocked them back for Spurs. Oh and if Rodgers sells Agger and Carroll and replaces them with Williams etc he wants shot. This season is going to be great.
mattypnufc
But he'll get them playing fancy football where they pass it around a lot...
STM
Be class if he does try to do that. They have the complete wrong players for that sort of system.
Dr Venkman
Replacing Agger with Williams would be hilarious.

Dave
There's no way I'm willing to tempt fate by predicting a disastrous season for them, it would be far too good after last year. Hope it happens, but they're the flukiest fuckers going so I expect they'll come out smelling of roses.
Guest neesy111
Liverpools squad just screams of average players in most positions bar 3-4 players. That's the main reason they'll struggle imo.

Guest firetotheworks
I mentioned it in my football pet hates a little while back. Managers who make the step up and then sign their old players. It's absolute suicide.
gbandit
Aye, you'd think their previous example of Hodgson would help them out on that one but no. They're too busy YNWAing
