You do wonder if the extent to which they play up Hillsborough in comparison to other clubs who have suffered similar tragedies is down to the fact that, well, they've also been on the other side of a stadium disaster. Focus on being the victim and hard done by pushes out any mention of the time their own fans were responsible for the manslaughter of 39 Italians. They can wallow and twist about perfectly sensible comments and thoughts, and the more they do it the less sympathy the public will have. The reputation of that club has been dragged through the mud and this type of shite just fosters even more ill will towards them. They're a disgrace.
