The Liverpool Thread

Totally in keeping with Liverpool's recent record of gaffes followed by a desperate PR scramble. In other news, also totally in keeping with the Daily Mail's inability to detect the real story, particularly if it doesn't back their agenda.

He likes his open letters, this one to us Swansea fans http://www.thisissouthwales.co.uk/story-16301404-detail/story.html%20, that was shortly before he went back on his written agreement not to come in for any Swansea players for at least 12 months. An agreement he signed for Swansea to allow him to talk to Liverpool.

Its in the papers as well (who knows if true) that he's lining up Williams (our centre half) as a replacement for Aggar who he's apparently allowing to go in an attempt to raise cash, probably to buy the rest of our team.

We find it amusing he's supposedly signing the keeper who left us at the end of his contract last year, after playing an important in getting us up, he preferred warming a bench at Wolves as he felt they had a better chance to stay up.

So Liverpools main sponsor Standard Chartered laundered over $2.5b with Iran, shares are plummeting now....

So Liverpool finished 7th last year, which wouldn't be acceptable this year. So in an effort to finish higher, Rodgers is trying to buy players from his old club, who actually finished below Liverpool in the first place. Great logic Bren.

What's worst is that the one player from Swansea who would have improved them, knocked them back for Spurs.

Oh and if Rodgers sells Agger and Carroll and replaces them with Williams etc he wants shot.

This season is going to be great.
