SUPERTOON
Rooney has been tremendous for the last month or so. Doesn't ever stop running and is all over the place. Fairly sure someone on here (HTT?) said he was finished a couple of months ago. Plenty have. Can remember Gash alluding to him having no skill or technique just before he scored 'that goal' against City. His long range passing is sublime. maze
Man Utd make me sick. The fact that they are so good just reminds me of the late 90s when we were up there. And along came Dalglish.... And after that some more crap...followed by a short periode of SBR magic... then back to Dalglish tapping all our decent players.

colinmk
Manu 2 Drogba 1. If Drogba started it could have been different.
NG32
Manu 2 Drogba 1. If Drogba started it could have been different. They cant play him from the start anyway.

Aye, think it helps him playing in this role and having someone like Hernandez up top.

oldtype
As long as they manage to luck out in the Champions League finals, it looks like Man United may be well on their way to a "treble by default"

Gash
Chelsea will get nowhere if they continually persist in picking Lampard who is either horribly out of form or noticeably past his best. Was thinking that myself, that shot he had earlier the Lampard of 2 years ago finished them every time, don't think it's form, more like past it. 2 years ago? He got about 30 goals last season, man. Shit! Just looked at the stats from last season, this really has been a long season!
Guest Geordiesned
Whitley Bay won 2-0 at home to Tow Law Town tonight to move up to 4th in the table. It looks like it'll be a straight fight between them and Newcastle Benfield (who won 3-1 at Esh Winning tonight) for the 2nd promotion place.
