BONTEMPI
Our one world class player gone! Makes me so angry!
Mick
not yet I still have hope that it's just badly bruised but knowing our luck he'll have both legs amputated tonight.
Liam Liam Liam O
not yet I still have hope that it's just badly bruised but knowing our luck he'll have both legs amputated tonight. I'd still pick him to play off Carroll ahead of Nolan.
TaylorJ_01
not yet I still have hope that it's just badly bruised but knowing our luck he'll have both legs amputated tonight. The pictures of his ankle hanging off are pretty conclusive tbh.
Mick
I'd still pick him to play off Carroll ahead of Nolan. So would I but I think Nolan would still get a game if he was the one with no legs, in fact...

OzzieMandias
The absolute best-case scenario won't see him back until, like, March. We'll have to pay his wages but obviously there's now no way he'll play 25 games and trigger the buy-for-£5 million (or whatever) clause. He could still end up staying, if he comes back from this well and Marseille offer us a few quid off. But it'll basically be for next season.
M4
Laughed last week when I saw headlines about Barca being "rocked by Messi injury" only to then read he would be out for 2 weeks. Thought: that's fucking nothing, try having star players out for endless months like we've had so much of. Fuck this club some times.
sander68
We could bring him on on crutches in injury time for 20 or so games.

Guest michaelfoster
He would need to be back by the Birmingham game on 18th Dec to activate the 25 game clause.

Shak
The pictures of his ankle hanging off are pretty conclusive tbh. I haven't seen anything like that, it looks like I'm clutching at straws. Haven't seen anything conclusive either, but generally once that oxygen mask appears you know the guy is fucked. Hope he can return and his career isn't completely ruined by this. It's not his ankle from what I've heard and that was from CH, he said tib and fib but hopefully not both or something along those lines
The Prophet
We could bring him on on crutches in injury time for 20 or so games. Would still move more than Nolan.

Guest Ridzuan
So has we seen the last of Ben Arfa in a Newcastle shirt?? That's really sad.
M4
This season just gets shitter shitter by the game. Can we go back to after the Villa game and start again?
Taylor Swift
http://img844.imageshack.us/img844/5268/104680374.jpg Yeah, that's broken (unless I'm confusing the shin guards with the unnatural bend I think his leg has).
Guest GeordieAce
Gutted for him. The lad has a broken leg and still manages to put a hand up to aknoweldge the fans as he's stretchered off.
Parky
Really depressing, he was the only real game changer we had.
