Dave Posted April 16, 2011 Share Posted April 16, 2011 As soon as he landed here it felt right to sign... very happy, looking to the future... wants to stay here a long time. Might take a few weeks to be back in full training. Dunno much about Pardew, had a few very good chats. Thinks he can play 1-3 games this season. Always nice to get back to full fitness, would be really beneficial to get a couple of games in. Goal at Everton doesn't necessarily sum him up - more to come, thinks he had a good start to the season but it's all about the team. Wasn't aware of the whole leg break really, got drugged up etc. At least once a week in France he was in touch with NUFC during rehabilitation. Club was great with him. Lot of letters from fans, really appreciative. Wants to thank the fans for this. Concentrating on playing for us again before looking to the France squad again.
