Guest zinaldo1982
Yeah i know but it was just an example on how tight they are with the fees and salaries they pay but they do ask for ridiculous transfer fees from teams whenever they are interested in their players. The footballer of 23 years want to force at any cost, his transfer to Newcastle and, after saying he would be willing to stand for a year, decided to start to miss team workouts without apparent justification. Against this background, the most senior official emblem of the South of France revealed that seeks to solve this case, the peak in 48 hours: "In the next two days everything will be resolved. Then we'll explain everything", he told local media. Ben Arfa again absent from the work session yesterday and everything indicates that we have no great alternative to the current president of the French champions but to accept the output of the athlete. Wullie
This needs sorting by Sunday, it's absolutely ridiculous. We can't afford to chuck away potential points over a few quid. Very little in the squad as it stands will worry Aston Villa.

KaKa
Zarate is being made available for loan by Lazio apparently, and he has spoken to some premier league clubs. Would be a great fall back option if this Ben Arfa deal doesn't pan out. Very similar type of player and already has prem experience. He'll also have some Argentina pals to play with. BlueStar
Getting daft now like, games are coming along now and every one we play with no-one who can move the ball between midfield and attack are potential points lost that we might really need at the end of the season. We need to go all out, and if we can't get him soon, we need to forget it and find someone else, quickly.

dcmk
Is everyone failing to see the situation here? It's not Ashley that is holding it all up... Marseille needs to bring in a striker before they can sanction any move for HBA. If they can't bring one in, they are keeping him.

Marseille needs to bring in a striker before they can sanction any move for HBA. If they can't bring one in, they are keeping him. But he's refusing to train or play for them, and has stated that he will put his career on hold (ie not play) in order to get away.
TRon
If he signs it will be more down to his desperation to come here than Ashley's making sure we get our man. If it falls through it will probably be the biggest transfer cock up since signing Taylor and Nolan last Xmas. That French journalist on Talksport reckons it would be a massive coup for us to sign him, he's that good.

Colos Curls
I'm actually mentally exhausted at checking this thread and news now in the hope this deal is coming to a conclusion. Yet everyday I check it's the same thing if not even further away. Talkshite just said milner to man city is the biggest transfer saga so far this season, I beg to differ strangely

Fingers crossed. Silly not being fully equipped for games as points are always at a premium in the PL.
