Can someone post that please?

The full interview?

If so, here it is.

Hatem Ben Arfa has revealed how he is watching all of Newcastle's games on television as he recovers from a double leg break in Tunisia.

The French star says he is "doing well" as he stays with his grandparents for the initial stages of his recuperation, and that he's doing all he can to return to action as soon as possible.

Ben Arfa spoke to The Magpies' matchday programme ahead of the Sunderland game and said: "I am doing really well. I am staying with my grandparents and that is good for the psychology aspect because it is not easy with an injury like this.

"It is a long process. There is not a lot I can do in these early stages and it is a case of waiting for the bone to mend.

"I was really enjoying my time at Newcastle and it hurt to have found a club that I was really happy at, only to get injured.

"I watched the West Ham game on television and it pained me that I couldn't be on the pitch and be part of it, but I am motivated and I can't wait to get back and get out on the pitch again. I am feeling very positive and it is very good for me to be here with my family."

The 23-year-old added: "I am following all of Newcastle's games all the way, I've been in touch with a few of the players and I just want to do everything I can to get back onto the pitch as quickly as possible.

"By being where I am at the moment and getting a little bit of treatment, time is passing a bit faster and I'm feeling good.

"I have received so many messages and wishes from the fans and all I can say is thank you. I think the best way I can repay the Newcastle fans will be out on the pitch when I come back.

"I have been gobsmacked by the amount of messages and best wishes from the fans and I've never been at a club where I have been so well received. Actions speak louder than words and I will repay those thanks when I return on the pitch."

Could of Ben Arfa's injury be a blessing in disguise actually with the pairing now of Shola and Carroll upfront now and looking excellent as an partnership.

Don't be daft.

Tell me of a player you would drop for Ben Arfa currently (if he was fit), because I can't tbh.

Fucking hell, that makes no sense. Ben Arfa was starting when he was fit, so he'd be in the team now if he was still fit.

Even if he had a dip in form.  I said currently from the last performances, don't jump to conclusions as u usually do with me ffs.

He's the best player in our squad and if fit, would be the first name on the teamsheet.

If he was fit and if he had a dip in form. Too many ifs raise too many other ifs tbh. If he had a dip in form then what about if any other player had a dip in form? It doesn't work. When he was playing, he was in ahead of Jonas, so I guess that's some kind of answer for you.

"I then talk to the captain (Kevin Nolan). It's a shame I am not able to help but the doctors are giving me a lot of hope and comforting me with this injury.

:smitten: lucky man (even with a broken leg)

Nolan's quickly becoming one of my all-time Newcastle favourites. Seems like a captain in every sense of the word.

Not long ago (was it even a week?) where someone said making him captain was a mistake.

tbh I think if Carroll and Shola actually form a good partnership it's Nolan who gets dropped.

Ben Arfa  Tiote  Barton  Jonas

          Shola  Carroll

Obviously though it depends on who's fit/in form when he comes back.
