One of the lads who plays football in our 5-a-side games is a Man Utd fan (a Geordie sadly, but his dad is a manc) and he says he's Robben but without the finesse and confidence. Says he's very similar in terms of style, all pace and trickery, head down, will shoot etc. This lad to be fair to him gets to quite a few of their games despite the distance and he's 40 odd so he's no that fat lee kid type of fan.

Sounds like Cheik has really worked on his game over summer.

The FC Twente chairman is being reported in Holland as saying "I am well happy" (according to Google translation) with the prospect of Tiote joining Man Utd as he reckons Twente negotiated a good sell-on clause with us.

I hope he's just reacting to speculation over here rather than a nod from Tiote's agent etc..

If there is a sell on clause, it is completely against the way Ashley does deals. He likes things cut and dried from day one - hence the need for us to pay fees up front and account for future wages etc. from the incoming fees. Therefore it is, in my opinion, very unlikely that there is such a clause.
