Dave
I'm nee expert, but could the problem be he's an Ivorian national trying to renew his visa in fucking Ghana? IIRC there's no British embassy or whatever in Ivory Coast. Ghana is the nearest one.
AyeDubbleYoo
I'm assuming he's gone to the best/only place he can do whatever he needs. I doubt we just picked an African country out of a hat. The original situation is a farce though.
Colocho
I'm nee expert, but could the problem be he's an Ivorian national trying to renew his visa in fucking Ghana? At the Ivorian embassy. midds
So the bit of paper that allows him to play for us has nothing to do with the football club? It's fucking lies man. I'd prefer it if he just said nothing.

Anderson
I still have absolutely no understanding of what's gone on. Who's refused him a Visa if it's not the British end? How can't he get one when he's worked here for a year? Fucking ridiculous.
timeEd32
If he misses the Arsenal game because of this I think it would make me angrier than anything that's happened over the last few years.

morpeth mag
Of course MA will be furious too as the only reason he wasn't playing against WBA and securing 10th place was so he was available for these next two games.

Ocho
I don't like the look of these processing times Service standards We have service standards for processing UK visa applications in Ghana. Our standards say that we will process: 90 per cent of non-settlement applications within 3 weeks, 98% within 6 weeks and 100% within 12 weeks of the application date; and 95 per cent of settlement applications within 12 weeks and 100% within 24 weeks of the application date. midds
Makes you wonder why he application didn't go in earlier..... Nothing to do with the club though obviously. Perish the thought. Not us boss.... Pricks.

BottledDog
When your visa expires, in most cases you have to leave the country and can only come back when its be re-issued. These things can take time and there is little you can do about it. As has been said a new Visa should take 7 days. Apparently not looking at Ochos service standards. Makes you wonder why he application didn't go in earlier..... Nothing to do with the club though obviously. Perish the thought. Not us boss.... Pricks. Stil don't see how you can say this when we have no idea when an application went in, or even if it could go in before Tiote presented himself at the embassy. Pricks. Stil don't see how you can say this when we have no idea when an application went in, or even if it could go in before Tiote presented himself at the embassy. You think this was planned like this by the club? To have our best midfielder training by himself, missing pre-season games while this is getting sorted? It's an admin fuck up. The club should have realised months ago that they had to renew his visa but did nothing about it until he tried to fly back into the country from the US. Its a shambles.
