Mike
Everytime I think of Taylor, I picture him in my mind being shot by a sniper versus Aston Villa. Every time I visualize Taylor, he's going nuts with his arms in the air, and the Stallone mouth going with the crazy eyes at 10.
Tooj
I can see him being called up to the next squad if he keeps up his current form.
jdckelly
I can see him being called up to the next squad if he keeps up his current form. while I agree he deserves at least a call up I can't see it happening, Capello just doesn't seem to pay attention to Newcastle or Sunderland when looking for players

tmonkey
Guess this is why he backs off so much when the opposition player has the ball. Like Simpson, he can't tackle for shit, only intercept.

Cajun
Let's not jump on a player who has made a mistake but has generally looked good all season and some were even talking up the prospect of an England place a matter of hours ago, makes us look like Mackems. Minhosa
Truth is he's always got a mistake in him but he's had a great start to the season and he's earned the right to a fuck up without consequence imho.

jdckelly
wouldn't blame him a whole lot for the penalty shouldn't have been put in the situation by the stupid give away of the ball in a dangerous position

AY
Some horrible positioning from him today, but has been good this season.
tmonkey
Great block, but he's been good at that for most of his career (including the sniper incident). That's my beef with him, some parts of his game are good, other parts are poor and he'll try to mask them. For example, penalty aside, I still think he was a tad disgraceful at times today in the way he backed off/ran away. There was one occasion where it was extremely blatant because he nearly ran into a teammate to get away from an attacker. IIRC he was the closest man to Bale, who was running free down the left flank, and instead of coming across to close Bale down as most centrebacks would do (and despite being in a good position to do just that), he turns his back and runs in the opposition direction to where Coloccini is already standing - wtf was that about? Surely someone also noticed this? Luckily Bale made a bad decision and nothing came of that instance.
Pilko
Cabaye's error left him with the tackle to make, and he had to do something. It was a poor tackle, but I'm not too upset about it. He played very well otherwise.
