Guest palnese
Is that move actually legal? Great improvisation, either way. Don't see why not? Unsporting behaviour, perhaps?
Yorkie
Nah I dunno - I can just remember some mutterings about whether it was allowed or not, last time he did it.
Sifu
IIRC, it's an illegal move but most refs don't know that.
Novocastrian
Is that move actually legal? Great improvisation, either way. He must practice that in training because it looked a lot more difficult than the last one. Maybe we should get all of the defence practicing it, in years to come it will be a common defensive skill. Guest palnese
Coming to think about it, I don't think you're allowed to score like that. Probably should've been an indirect free-kick to Fulham.
jdckelly
IIRC, it's an illegal move but most refs don't know that. I'd call it more liberal interpretation of the rules
toontownman
Has he trademarked that move yet? Needs his own bloody video game character with signature moves. - Taunt Keep - Headed lateral Ground Pass - Heart Attack dive
Begbie
Backpass rule: Trickery If the referee believes a defender is trying to circumvent the backpass law using trickery, he can penalize the player for unsporting behavior. For example, if a defender deliberately flicks the ball up into the air and then heads it back to the goalkeeper, the referee will award an indirect free kick. Yep playing with fire, as soon as a ref knows the rules he's doomed
Superior Acuña
I think it's legal if you're isolated, but could be done for dangerous play.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
wasn't it proven to be illegal because it's not natural/he's doing it on purpose or whatever, after the last time he did? Still canny funny as part of his "I'm a total heedthabaal" act.
Tiresias
It's definately not legal, and we could have been punished for it, funny once but someone needs to have a word with him
midds
It's definately not legal, and we could have been punished for it, funny once but someone needs to have a word with him I'd much prefer him to deal with an awkward ball like a proper defender rather than attempt the Hollywood shit. Just clear the cunt out.
Ryan_Taylor
Aye. Lets just not be a bell and deal with the ball eh? Oh and score next weekend
Fugazi
Saw him give a thumbs-up to a disabled fan at the end, presumably the same fan he celebrated with the last time.
Scotty66
Absolutely desperate to score. You can see that when he does he's just gonna explode. Got a feeling he will before the season is out, hopefully it will come in either of the next two games
Mick
I'd much prefer him to deal with an awkward ball like a proper defender rather than attempt the Hollywood s***. Just clear the c*** out. I thought that he looked like a twat attempting that, imagine if he'd dropped a bollock.
Cajun
Would love for him to score against the mackems, I think we would be in for a treat
Mick
Would love for him to score against the mackems, I think we would be in for a treat The mackems would probably hate him scoring more than any other player, he really gets to them.
Dave
Should have had at least one goal today, oddly.

Dave
Should have had at least one goal today, oddly. Was that the header that went wide? Headed one over in the first half under no pressure and forced an admittedly decent save out of Schwarzer in the second.
NEEJ
I want him to score more than anyone on our books next weekend. Then milk it for all it's worth.
