gbandit
I don't understand the argument 'given enough over the years to deserve his place'. Football isn't some charity, we're trying to win games, we're trying to push on as a club and become a real team again. I like Shola, I think his family are great, I think he's a great role model as a character. I don't think he's ever been good enough to play first team PL football, nevermind now. If I saw him, I'd shake his hand and thank him for his time at the club and wish him all the best, that doesn't mean I want him to play for us again. TaylorJ_01
If he is even back in the reckoning Pardew needs a shovel-face-shovel sandwich.

Tooj
Fantastic news. Will Michael Dawson be fit? He's always good for gifting us a few points whenever we play yous.
TRon
If he is even back in the reckoning Pardew needs a shovel-face-shovel sandwich. He shouldn't even make the bench, whether Ba is fit or not.
M4
He shouldn't even make the bench, whether Ba is fit or not. Yup. His fitness and availability should be completely irrelevant.
Hanshithispantz
He scored none and he played six He fails to put it between the sticks He wore black and he wore white He will allways be canny shite Bang bang, he stumbled down Bang bang, he hit the ground Bang bang, that awful sound Bang bang, Shola shut our attack down. Poignant.

Ameritoon
Better than Loven, I suppose. I'm sure he'll be getting on ahead of Ben Arfa though.
Ronaldo
It'll be like playing with 10 men if either of them get a game.

Guest icemanblue
Serious question, if you had to have either Shola or Loven who would it be? Oooh, Lovenkrands. He's meant to be hung like a baby elephant.

eliassenfredrik
Fuck sake. I'd actually rather play Løvenkrands. Wow, that's quite crazy. We had a chance of drawing in this one. Well we had a good run.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Loven too Less likely to play long ball, which completely cuts our midfield players' abilities on the ball out and Shola isn't even a half decent target man. He's just shit in every department apart from penalty taking.
eliassenfredrik
He's not an excellent penalty taker, he's just less shit at it. Imagine if he missed a pen in the Spurs game. His very last straw.

The one against the mackems was the perfect pen.
