morpeth mag Posted October 31, 2010 Share Posted October 31, 2010 Always felt he didn't do enough in CM but as others have done must give him credit today - not for his goals which he always delivers - but for his general game and the pace he set closing SAFC down. Don't forget we had a CM less than SAFC but he and Tiote (and Barton) were excellent. I think we all under estimate his leadership of this team. I did not go to the gamne today (unfortunately) but I did have the pleasure of viewing it in my living room via SS! Sam Allardyce pretty much summed KN up he said that as a CM he is ok but his positional play and awareness in the box are superb. Today IMO KN showed everyone what he can do everywhere. He was good in attack (obviously) but i thought he got back well and defended superbly (especially the point where Newcastles defence just stood there for a second and watched the ball right by the penalty). Even when he wasnt playing too well i was posting about him bringing more to the team- today he lead like a fucking General.
