joeyt
Been smashing the past 4/5 games. Wonder where that came from? Change of name James done good

Skirge
I'd start him at LB vs Scum, not risk Mass in the bad tackles that are bound to go in.

Tiotes Witch Doctor
Is there a chance he hasn't been fully fit or had a crisis of confidence or something earlier in the season, because his last 5-6 games hes looked more and more like the James of old, nothing short of excellent defensively and even getting past his man and putting in a cross (shite cross like) but still, chuffed that we seem to be seeing the best of him again. durhamunigeordie
Difficult one because he doesn't really deserve to miss out on Sunday. Problem is the options are wide instead of Gouffran/Marv, in the middle instead of maybe Tiote or LB ahead of Haidara - arguably he shouldn't start ahead of any of those. Geordie Ahmed
Not sure what on earth has happened BUT the last few games he has been quality, his crossing is still meh BUT he is beating players for fun and driving us forward with the runs we became used to

colinmk
Stick him in the middle. Been where he belongs for about a season now.
Yorkie
Stick him in the middle. ... is the right answer, as far as I'm concerned. -------- Sissoko ----- Jonas -------- -- HBA ------- Cabaye ---- Marv -- That's what I'd consider our best midfield right now. Harsh on Gouffran but he should come into his own next season, when Pardew's figured out how is best to use him.
Ronaldo
No chance should Cabaye be played up there, like, especially with his stamina problems at the moment. He'd just go missing. Fair play to Jonas, he's done very well in the last 3 games.
Crayola Kid
would love him to get a derby goal. he's been an on-off talisman in his time here, and this could be his last chance

Stifler
A few decent performance however his final ball is still poor. With the likes of Sammy, Ferguson coming back I'd still be rather happy to let him go if we can get someone else in who can play upfront with Cisse. Pata
---------Cabaye---Jonas-------- --HBA-------Sissoko----Marv-- Would like this against mackems. Harsh on Gouff but Jonas doesn't deserve to be dropped right after these few massive performances.

Lotus
He's playing ok now. Wouldn't be in my 1st choice 11 but defo a sub option - professional, works hard, doesn't try stupid passes, can draw a foul, etc.

Varadi
Looks in decent nick - if Haidara is going to play in the derby would be tempted to use Jonas in the middle alongside Cabaye - he's just a fair bit steadier and more predicable than Tiote... Guest bimpy474
Tell you what, he has put Owen, Duff and some of those other relegation season fucktards to shame. He has shown fight in this relegation battle, in fact i think this is why his form has improved, he willingness to fight.

Guest Consett_NUFC
Had a decent game last night by his standard. But most of our team are better footballers than him, shame.
