r0cafella
More fool him for being played in that way by both the club and his best mate. Better off playing at his level elsewhere to be honest, lovely guy but not good enough to be starting games for us. Tbf, apparently you don't even have to be good to start games for us now. The utter dog shit tactics would ruin any good players. The way the players are playing now, Jonas would give them a proper run for their money. Obertan sammy ameobi cabella gouffran Perez aarons sissoko guttierez- hardly sticks out does he in that shower of shite Nope, doesn't make him good enough to play for us either. It does if he isn't any worse than the rest... Perez shouldn't be in that group for me as he is a CF. In terms of on the wing he is no worse than Obertan, SAmeobi or Gouffran. Sissoko is arguably not a winger and then that leaves Aarons, Cabella and Jonas. With Aarons out that makes him well worth his chance, for me. All depends what formation you're playing and how many people we're willing to play out of position though, because under Pardew that's all we did (play people out of position). John P
Bit harsh, I for one would like to give him a send off at the final home game of the season. Think that's the least he deserves

Disco
In the clubs eyes he has fulfilled his role as being a PR scapecoat relieving the pressure on them/Pardew, now he's just another expendable wage in the drive to maximise profits. He'll be tossed aside asap, even moreso if the tossing Rangers off is true.

Deuce
With there seemingly been little chance of the midfielder getting further opportunities at Newcastle, you would hope that at the very least our club will help smooth the way for whatever Gutierrez would like to do next. More likely they've changed all the locks and emptied his locker out on the curb.
Ronaldo
Who took the time to write an article about Jonas Gutierrez's travel arrangements on a Monday morning for Christ's sake?
Fenham Mag
You know, there's not enough sentiment left in the game. What harm to give him a few games? We've got absolutely nowt to play for.

There was an interview with Jonas around Christmas / New Year time where he said the contract extension only kicks in if he plays something like 7 or 8 more games for us.
