I'd love Krancjar aswell. I rate him higher than Pienaar in all honesty.

I'd agree. But then I usually rate technique/talent over pace/hard work.

You say that as if Pienaar doesn't have great technique.

There's a reason Spurs are giving one player 70k a week (and paying millions even though he's a free agent in 6months) and the other is getting pushed out of the door. It's not purely down to workrate. Arry might be a total wanker but he knows what he's doing.

gotta admit, I quite rated the pre-liverpool keane. Not sure now. Always had a feeling he'd play in black'nwhite someday.

Anyways, i had that feeling with james beattie aswell.... glad we didn't get him :)

Isn't O'Hara more of a CM? May be wide of the mark here but I'm sure he played there for Pompey.

About Precisely 50/50 between CM and LW last season.

He's filled in at LB for us too, as Dave suggests. Lovely left foot, but very one-footed. I'd have been happy to keep him as a squad player, but if we can only have the 25.......

Probably more importantly, he's already made clear that he's not happy to just be a squad player at Spurs, and that's fair enough, at least he's honest. Not sure he'd be happy to be a squad player with you guys, but he'd be higher up the pecking order. Put it this way, I'd play him ahead of Smith or Guthrie at CM, and he could cover LB and LM.

Alan Pardew: "We have a few irons in the fire, but I won't be naming names.

"After the disappointment of last week when we thought we had a done deal for a player, nothing is ever certain in football.

"We can only hope something happens very soon."

Wonder who was the "done deal"? Bothroyd?

Robbie Keanes coming in. Same fee as paid for pienaar so around 3 million.

He's going to Sunderland.

There signing Danny Graham.

???

Could do much better than Keane. But at 3m I wouldnt mind for a short term solution.

Be suprised if we buy a striker though, unless its a pacey one that can play on the wing. AM, a versatile winger or a LB will surely come first.

O'Hara on loan would be a decent move. Redknapp has confirmed he's fit again and is willing to let him go out.

Competition for Gutierrez and cover for Enrique at low risk.

He won't come.  He won't bring Danielle Lloyd up toon with Pardew in charge.
