Cajun
If we signed Wickham we would have to sign that pikey Delap.
Cronky
From The Sun. TARGETS: Southampton starlet Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ipswich's Connor Wickham and QPR's Adel Taarabt. I know this is probably just shit made up, but hasn't Taarabt been great this season? Haven't seen him myself but i have read here and there that he's in good form. Taarabt's a very skilful player who could easily play in the Premiership. The trouble is, he's allergic to passing the ball.
joeyt
If we signed Wickham we would have to sign that pikey Delap. I know you were joiking but Wickham's long throws are more than decent
Mistle17
Ive heard that we are looking to sign Adam Lallana from saints. They are looking to wrap the deal up in early January. The source is a Friend of his who use to play youth team football with him before he went to Saints. The offer is in the region of £1.5m Good player he is. He could be a decent signing but I'd rather wrap up the Ben Arfa deal first, as tbh, I can't see us getting more than £5m (rumoured fee for Benny) to spend. Amir_9
Im sure its been mentioned before, but I would love to see Beckham here. Purely for his set pieces and crosses.

Amir_9
He would be a great influence on the dressing room as well, would rather him instead of the likes of Alan Smith.

jdckelly
Woodgate on loan? as much as i love him, do we really need another cb with taylor hopefully signing a new deal, willicinni, sol and kadar
Jordan
Can't see Taylor signing a new deal sell him in jan and get Woody on loan for rest of season then buy a cheap centre halve in summer.
Guest kingdawson
Redknapp has already stated Woody will be allowed to leave on loan in January. He should be back in full training soon and would be an excellent loan signing for more or less any team.
Dokko
No need to go anywhere near woodgate even on loan, were better than him righ now, it will take too many games to get him up to the speed of the prem and standard of what we've got already. Guest ObiChrisKenobi
I keep thinking Woodgate is in his mid 30's, but he's not.

Super Duper Branko Strupar
Nar, had him here when he was genuinely class, don't want him when he's slow and poor and mates wiv 'Arry.
Cronky
Woodgate clearly has fitness problems. If he was still any good, he'd be in the first team at Spurs.

Sorry but that's simply not true. He's been great for us until the injury.

But he is first team? he'd probably be starting if fit. But he's not fit, in fact Sol Campbell is currently light years ahead of him in the fitness stakes, which is criminal. Would be a good signing for Blackpool, where half fit he's better than any of their defenders, and by the end of the season he might get to a level of fitness to where he's can be a 1st teamer but IHMO he'll get injured way before that happens. It would be a dreadful signing.
wormy
It's a mixture of common sense and stubbornness that I don't want him. It's always 50/50 whether he'll even make a full comeback from any of his injuries. If someone loans him I wouldn't be the least surprised if he breaks down in his first game. Second, we've got a good, settled defence right now, no need to spoil it. Especially (and here's the stubborn part) just so we can give him back to Spurs if/when he gets back on form so he can help with their charge. Nothing against Spurs, I wouldn't want to loan any player from another PL club for those reasons. We're just getting the shit of his being unfit and off form to start with, just for them to steal him back when he comes good.
Cronky
Linked with a loan move for SWP - http://www.people.co.uk/sport/football/football-hotline/2010/12/26/toon-make-wright-move-in-january-102039-22805667/ Not everyone would be pleased at that, but I see him as an unfulfilled talent who perhaps just needs a coach who can get through to him.
