Keefaz
Get in. Thought we held our own pretty well there and looked dangerous on the break.
Guest firetotheworks
The second half will obviously be much, much harder. But that aside, excellent half. Everyone has played their part, even Jonas who has been, for want of a better word, shite.
mouldy_uk
Well played Carroll, Tiote, Krul, Defence
Ameritoon
To think I was fretting about going into half at 0-0. Fucking perfect goal and perfect timing!

buzza
unreal, carrol is a star!! defending greatly, jonas just has to know when to pass and when to boot when near our area!!!
Guest firetotheworks
Also my stepmam came running into the living room when we scored because she thought I was 'being attacked.'
Incognito
The guy who played in goal at SJP is by far their best keeper tbh.
Disco
Be amazed if Arsenal don't come flying out the traps like, thats as poor as I have seen them play recently.
Doug
The boos are from the press box as its fucked up there plotline so far.
Dave
Fucking brilliant half from us tbh. Stopped Arsenal playing really effectively and got the lead with our first real chance (Krul saved theirs with an absolutely stunning stop). Problem now is we have something to lose. David28
Thanks to Carroll and Krul today. Nolan has been solid. Jose and Tiote as good as usual imo. Only Barton and Jonas have been a poor.

Dinho lad
"Newcastle musn't get too ambitious here..." Fuck off, Pleat!
cubaricho
Arsenal have been really poor, I don't expect a second half like that at all.
Neil
Fucking brilliant half from us tbh. Stopped Arsenal playing really effectively and got the lead with our first real chance (Krul saved theirs with an absolutely stunning stop). Problem now is we have something to lose. Keep it absolutely exactly the same. Granted Arsenal haven't been at their best but you've stopped them playing, taken your chance when it came and really, IMO, it would be suicidal to change this whatsoever. Mr Logic
Enrique's been a bit dodgy compared to his usual but overall, considering who we're playing, I'd say we've done well. Commentators always saying Arsenal have not really got going but give no credence to the possibility we've prevented them from really getting going. Guest firetotheworks
Simpson and Krul have been the clear stars for me, then Tiote and Carroll.
Lenny
Very impressive stuff, absorbed the pressure well and tried to have a go ourselves. It never ceases to amaze me how composed we always seen to look on the ball. Only negative I can think of, Jonas has had a mare at times.
Kaizero
Also my stepmam came running into the living room when we scored because she thought I was 'being attacked.' The same happened to me, only it was my dad.

Everyone has played their part, even Jonas who has been, for want of a better word, shite. Jonas has been garbage but his effort and skill won us the opportunity from which we scored. Just shows that some players like him can be worth the frustration for what they contribute in stats.
