Disco
How the fuck are Peru who needed to qualify through an inter-continental play off in pot 2 along with Spain and England? Stifler
How the fuck are Peru who needed to qualify through an inter-continental play off in pot 2 along with Spain and England? Based on World ranking I think. Aye, world rankings suck though, seriously flawed system. I’ll take Poland, Iran, and Panama.
Away Day Gadgie
I don't undertstand why the host nation needs to be seeded in pot 1. Fair enough automatically qualifying but to probably be given an easy group aswell is unneccesary and f***s everything up.

Based on World ranking I think. Aye, world rankings suck though, seriously flawed system. I’ll take Poland, Iran, and Panama. Got a feeling Poland will be dangerous myself. Not too far from home so they will probably have huge support and they've some decent quality and a lot of experience in their squad.

Ketsbaia
Pots 3 and 4 really showcase how weak this World Cup looks. But then Costa Rica happens!
Flip
Managed to get tickets for four games in Moscow and St Petersburg with top seeds. Not sure which ones, but four out of Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Portugal, Poland, Belgium and France isn't a bad haul after all.

Except for a 4-0 spanking from Denmark they walked their qualification group.
triggs
Portugal are a decent outside bet IMO. They have a better team now than when they won the Euros
Disco
Portugal are a decent outside bet IMO. They have a better team now than when they won the Euros Potentially. Play anyone with a modicum of pace going forward and they're struggling though.

You should leave this discussion and focus on crafting a strategy to defeat the varous Caribbean islands you will face next time around. Nigeria have been to the World Cup five times, were drawn against Argentina four of those times, and have lost to them by one goal on every single occasion. We rubbished them on Tuesday, but I am not fooled. I will take any of the other top seeds over them. It is difficult to see anything other than a tough group for them, anyway. Falling into pot 4 and the new format for the draw means we have made this hard on ourselves.

joeyt
I don't think G Nev is that bad of a pundit compared to most of the other ones that are employed on the various tv and radio stations. Can't stand his brothers analysis mind.
