Jack Flash
He could actually continue to do a decent job - not sure if anyone has considered that. He hasn't in the past. Good start followed by a sharp decline, mass protests and a sacking is usually the way this works for him.

Taylor Swift
Lose at Sunderland and Pardew will be on the ropes. It's a long way back from any defeat to that mob. That's ridiculous. There's no way one defeat - to whoever it is - will put him on the ropes. You think if we beat Arsenal 2-1 then lose to Sunderland 3-0 that Pardew will be on the ropes? Ridiculous. Beating Sunderland is better than beating any other team but you still get only 3 points at the end of the day, so a loss isn't the end of the world. Ronaldo
We lose the first two games and he will be on the ropes, especially if we go into the season with no more signings.

If we lose 3 zip to Sunderland his position is untenable man. It doesn't bear thinking about.
Yorkie
He'll be on the ropes but fan pressure won't have any effect on whether he stays or goes. So long as we're atleast safe, Ashley won't chuck him. Like he gives a shit about the Wear-Tyne derby ffs.
Taylor Swift
On the ropes according to who? The fans? None of us will actually make the decision. Remember the goal is to just finish in the top 10. We'll do that pretty easily.
Ronaldo
An injury to Demba Ba and we most certainly won't do that, or anything like that.

SUPERTOON
RE: This new youth policy - besides Mehdi - where are the new players? Pretty much ever signing we are trying to make? Plus the not offering long contract to players over 28?
SteveMc
RE: This new youth policy - besides Mehdi - where are the new players? It isn't new is it? See all the signings madee to the development squad over the last 3-4 years and the age profile of our first team signings (with the odd exception) over the last couple. Dave
And rightly so. Even though I strongly disagreed with his appointment and haven't seen much improvement so far, unless we're in deep trouble he has to be given this upcoming season before being judged fairly. oldtype
There seems to be so much less emphasis on the manager and so much more on the board these days anyway... On an emotional level it barely seems to matter whether it's Pardew or some other non-entity in the manager spot.

Colocho
He's the perfect man for the job (in the board's eyes). I can't think of many managers who would work under our current owners, and on that basis alone, I see no reason for him not to remain here for the next five years. Guest Antec
As it stands at the minute we could be 2 or 3 injuries (Colo, Barton & Ba) away from a relegation battle, scary

Indeed, I have said from when he was appointed I will start judging his tenure around midway through this season.

We're two suspensions or injuries away from a defensive crisis.
