alpal78
The sending off today turned the game, it had nothing to do with Pardew who should have brought Ranger on the minute they went down to 10 men. We were all over them for 10 minutes after that and Best and Lovenkrands did nothing and he did nothing to change it until late in the game, he was very lucky that it worked with so little time left. You're never gonna give him any credit are you ever? Says a lot about you

Guest Tdeans
Look he's alright but with chrissy we WOULDNT have had to comeback from 4-0 down
quayside
You're never gonna give him any credit are you ever? Says a lot about you  What changed the game today? The sending off was the turning point. But there has to be belief from a side that is 4-0 down especially when its against a side that can keep the ball like Arsenal. Without wanting to be arsey - how would you have reacted if Hughton was managing and we'd pulled out that result today?
Carlito
I'm no fan of Pardew but major props for whatever he said at half time today. Unbelievable game of football.
TRon
Lovenkrands on the wing was a huge error. Hope he never makes it again. I'm pretty sure Shearer and Hughton made the same error in their stints as manager, that's one of the downsides of constantly changing the man at the helm, you are going to see the same mistakes being repeated. I'm not going to carp though I just don't feel like slagging anyone after today.

Fucking hate how some people are so bias on here

Punk77
Still he needs to improve his media skills. But I honestly think that Pardew have achieved some results that Chris couldn't have pulled off. Especially the two games against West Ham and Wigan. Rocker
Hhahaha. When asked if he was going to have a drink tonight, he responded with ' I don't know if they (newcastle fans) will throw beer at me, or buy me a beer, call me an idiot, or say I got it right...' Guest neesy111
Lovenkrands on the wing was the stupidest decision I've ever seen, but the entire first half was a disaster from back to front. Deserves credit for the second half though, he must have said something at half time because they came out with a bit more belief and the sending off gave them (and the fans) that little spark that was needed. Thanks Alan Shearer did exactly the same thing v Fulham 2009.

Dokko
Wasn't sure where to dump this and it is written by Alan Oliver... http://www.people.co.uk/sport/football/news/2011/02/06/mike-ashley-to-stay-at-newcastle-and-splash-andy-cash-102039-22902145/ Ashley was the driving force in extracting a staggering £35 million from Liverpool for 22-year-old Carroll. And I can reveal that the fee included £30 million paid in cash immediately – AND a 7.5% sell-on clause guaranteeing Newcastle a windfall if England striker Carroll moves on from Anfield. £30m upfront is amazing but to also get a sell on fee for this deal is incredible IF true.
