Guest Tdeans
Ah wotever can't be assed and neither want to continue this on. I'll just leave the bloody Alan-Pardew fan club to their own devices.

The Prophet
At least Neesy and Stifler will be happy there's a new contender for 'most retarded poster of 2011.' Right... this coming from a man who rates beating West Ham 5-0 better than beating the Mackems 5-1. When did I say this? Straw man-tastic.

80
No owning to be seen here. One stupid comment from Flatline about Hughton's mythical bottling and making Nolan do teamtalks, but otherwise...
Pilko
Almost any team in the world can get 4-0 down against arsenal... Yes they are that good. But not many teams have the balls to get out there and get it back to square again. Pardew gets my thumbs up for now, but we'll see after the summer transferwindow, if we stay up, what he will do then. After that next season its time to point fingers, if its for stupidity or grace is yet to see. Good post.
afar
The only real problem I have with Pardew right now is his use of "was" instead or "were" shockingly bad cockney grammer.
Benwell Lad
Spoke to a Hammers fan this afternoon who complained about Avram Grant's inability to deliver the required inspirational team talks - said he's about the same in the dressing room as he is on TV. I mentioned that Pardew had apparently torn into our lot at half time on Saturday and told them a few home truths. Hammers fan said he did very well at West Ham and would have him back any time. LoveItIfWeBeatU
The only real problem I have with Pardew right now is his use of "was" instead or "were" shockingly bad cockney grammer. You spelt grammar incorrectly. Now that's ironic. To be fair to Pardew, Shearer says "Done" instead of "Did" on 'Match of the Day' all the time. It makes him sound thick. quayside
To be honest you can look at all the good results both Hughton and Pardew have got and construct a reason that gives them little or no credit for our success on the day. Its purely a judgement call on whether AP is an improvement. Yes for me.
Foluwashola
Must say, the cockney fucker is starting to grow on me Still don't view him as an improvement on Hughton at the minute, but we'll never get to find what direction Hughton would have taken us in and I probably would have had reservations about him being the right man to spend £35m anyway. Like 80 said, unless a horrific decline in form takes place between now and the end of the season, his transfer dealings in the summer will make or break him

Like 80 said, unless a horrific decline in form takes place between now and the end of the season, his transfer dealings in the summer will make or break him I agree with you on this. I'm reluctantly starting to accept Pardew a little bit, especially after seeing his celebration on Saturday. I'm really unsure how he'll do in the transfer market but that's assuming that the money will be given to him to spend above all else first. Still don't trust Ashley and his lot as far as I could chuck them and never will.

Dr Venkman
Wonder what Chris Hughton would of done... probably left the second half talk to Nolan seeing as he was the real manager Oh come on bloody hell. Hughton would never have let us go down to bloody 4-0 down in the first place. IIRC when he was in charge we BEAT the gooners 1-0 didn't even bloody need to comeback. I mean credit where credits due Pardew must have done a good team talk and well done for that. The match was unbeliavable and I loved it but still going 4-0 down is still very bad when compared to not conceding and winning 1-0 isn't it. Bolton away never happened in your world i guess. Yes it did happen but so did beating Aston Villa 6-0 and the Mackems 5-1. Yet to see results like that under Pardew. West Ham & Liverpool at home never happened in your world either i see. i could have beaten west ham on my own that night

Lotus
One thing that keeps cropping up in my mind is that, one of the supposed main reason he was brought in was that he could be better trusted in the transfer market. Now, looking at how January panned out i'm beginning to wonder, he could be better trusted to do what?
