ponsaelius
Cannot f***ing wait for this. Love Boxing Day games. Actually looking forward to it far more than Christmas Day. If it gets called off I'd literally cry myself to DEATH. It really shouldn't like, even if it does snow heavy they should be well prepared.

Think the main reason I'm looking forward to this more than usual is because of how much I hate Man City. Would make my Christmas if we pick up the win. David28
From the bbc match preview. Isn't there something wrong with line-up and subs we supposedly had against Liverpool? LAST LEAGUE MATCH LINE-UPS Newcastle (W3-1 v Liverpool, h): Krul, Simpson, Steven Taylor, Campbell, Jose Enrique, Routledge (Ranger 74), Guthrie (Smith 73), Tiote, Gutierrez, Carroll, Ameobi (Lovenkrands 46). Subs not used: Soderberg, Perch, Best, Kadar. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/9300504.stm

That team would have never beaten Liverpool 3-1, though.

David28
Krul Simpson Taylor Coloccini Enrique Barton Nolan Tiote Jonas Ranger Carroll Go and attack them. That's the line-up I would like to see. Shola surely can't start considering how poor he's been recently.

Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Shola's injured anyway I think Looks like it the team will be Krul Simpson Taylor Coloccini Enrique Barton Smith Tiote Jonas Nolan Carroll Based on the Pardew comments. Pilko
If that is indeed the team then I'll be sticking Man City in my accumulator.

Revolution Number 9
No, look, it's all part of the plan! We need Smith on to kick fuck out of De Jong.
QBG
Can see what he's going for if that is the line up. Obviously seen Nolan's ability to link play with the midfield. Tiote is good all round especially in possession, Smith will likely sit and try and murder anyone coming forward. Playing 2 more sort of holding midfielders I would guess that he wants to give the full backs more freedom to roam and link up with the wingers. It puts alot of pressure on Tiote and Smith if that is the case but it could in theory work if we can get the service into Carroll.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Tiote will go round actually defending. Smith just sits deep as a third centre half and tries to slide in on any blue coloured shirt. That's what will happen. Smith doesn't even defend, he just slides about everywhere being shit.
