Thursday's match will be really interesting.  From a point of view to seeing if JC changes much.  The last time he was in the dugout it could be argued he was doing as instructed by the king.  Wonder if that ties in with his own philosophy. Anyone know how that Vancouver team played? Keen to see if he just unleashes all out toon attack.

                  Alnwick

Janmaat - Colo - Dummett - Santon

                  Tiote

                  Sissoko

Ben Arfa -  Perez - Cabella

            (Derek Wright?)

Hat trick for Ben Arfa, job done. Aarons, Papiss and De Jong will come back. Champions League beckons! Pardew out!

“Every Monday he [Pardew] comes into work having compiled a defensive report on the opposition. That’s his project, working with our video analysts to provide players with the best information.

“This week, for example, he will talk about Manchester City’s angles of attack, their set-pieces, their movement, as well as focussing on individuals. The lads will be made aware of Dzeko’s strengths and weaknesses, the best way to nullify Silva, Milner’s incredible work-rate, everything.

“That takes care of Monday to Thursday. On Friday it’s my turn when we look at ways to get at opponents. Put simply, Alan concentrates on how not to lose and I then find ways to win.

(probably just try and keep a clean sheet)

As assistant to Pardew, Carver was credited with Newcastle’s turnaround in fortunes earlier this season, when he recommended changes to the playing style, chiefly the promotion of young striker Ayoze Perez to the starting line-up.

Hmm.

Some of the fan quotes following him leaving Toronto are fantastic:

nice guy, but if people think this will hurt TFC, they haven’t been watching the games.

Last week Carver watched from the pressbox while the assistants (Cummins + Dasovic) managed the team, and it was TFC’s best performance of the season.

PS. Carver isn’t an ideal MLS coach, he was incompetent at best but u cud never question his passion."

If it turns out Carver did resign to take up another water boy position at Newcastle then have fun in the Championship ya whinging wank. Aside from leaving during the season, I personally feel it is a positive thing for TFC, as Carver really never had much of a positive impact with the club, albeit for the short time he was there.

No big loss as long as they got a competent replacement. Always got the impression that Carver was an excellent coach, but his decisions on game-day were very poor."

It's staggering that Carver worked under Robson and seemingly learned absolutely nothing from it like.

He's a completely thick cunt who probably sits down and laughs at Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. No teaching somebody like that.
