johnnypd Posted January 31, 2011 Share Posted January 31, 2011 no. absolutely not. genuinely the worst possible kind of move we could make - overpriced, over-rated, over the hill english player. if we're going to spend a decent amount of money on a striker there's far, far better players for far less overseas. would be a disaster as a permanent signing imo. i'd accept him as a stop gap loan, but no more.
