Ewerthon and Kuqi are different types of strikers. I'm hoping, therefore, that the initial intention was to try and sign both and that we'll be trying again for Ewerthon.

Why would we sign two players when we only have one open spot?

Surely we can budge one of Xisco, Routledge, Forster from our squad ffs.

We registered them, we can't unregister them. At least according to FM.

But according to FM you can't add free agents to your squad outside of transfer windows? or have I made that up.

You've made it up.

im ower the moon that hes "cheap as fuck" like, good to hear Mike is saving some more of his pennies, especially after lining them with £35m after selling AC9 with 15mins to go on deadline day.

Yep, cracking move by the club.

Well they can't spend the £35m now, so a slightly pointless argument.

Hence it was a cracking move by the club to sell our star striker with 15mins left in the window, knowing they could only bring shite in on a temporary contract til the end of the season.

You do realise he's still injured? We'd have a striker crisis regardless. It's the club's fault for not strengthening adequately but it's got little to do with the Carroll sale.

That makes our current situation worse, Carroll has been injured since Christmas, he wasn't injured on deadline day.

Spot on, the fucking amateurs running NUFC have not got the nous of the people who are running Liverpool who were not letting Torres go until they got Carroll. We should of told Chelsea we want one of there fringe strikers on-loan to kickstart the merry-go-round

To make matters worse, Chelsea did send a forward out on loan.

oh well, good move by the club then, to have no decent strikers in the second half of the season, either way.
