Dave
Really when you think about it we only really need 2 wins and 2 draws from our last 12 to get to the 40 point mark. I'm just doubtful that 40 points will be enough this season. The bottom four are just about keeping up with about a point per game. 40 will probably scrape safety IMO. QBG
The lack of signing a striker in January (in anycase of Carroll leaving) is costing us dearly. Not really. We've scored plenty without Carroll. The lack of any foresight to sign a striker in the summer, is costing us.
Dokko
Fact is we are playing well. If we were not playing then I'd be concerned. West Brom have shown to be as fragile as cows arse at the back. I'd rather be playing well and drawing than playing shite while drawing because right now were missing out on wins and they'll come, if we play badly those draws will turn in to losses quickly and we'll really have something to moan about. Mick
That was as frustrating as hell, we outclassed them for 99% of the game and failed to capitalise on our dominance because our front 2 were toothless and we didn't change anything until the 76th minute. That was 2 points dropped and we didn’t get the result that our domination deserved, we dominated a game totally and we did it while carrying a midfield passenger and playing the toothless forwards. 7 outfield players played really well today and deserved more than a single point for the effort that they put in. Beren
We score an average of 1.3* goals per half - even with Ameobi out and Carroll gone. [based on the last three halves of football]

Greg
What's this I've heard about Enrique giving lovenkrands what for? How pissed was he? Just an argument about Loven's movement, both put their side across but nowt to worry about.

magorific
Jonas 6 Pathetic. He has a good game today. He did nowt man. Utter nonsense. That's a pisstake if you are being serious Towelie. Did he set up a single chance today? If he did, I can't remember it. His two shots were both pathetic. He was average and carried by Enrique, who had a f***ing subliminal game. f*** off. Nice one. There is no point reasoning with such drivel. Indeed. "Subliminal" had no place in that post.
Mick
What's this I've heard about Enrique giving lovenkrands what for? How pissed was he? He was going mad with Lovenkrands because Jose played a ball in and Lovenkrands was standing and waiting for the ball to drop at his feet instead of going for it. Did he set up a single chance today? If he did, I can't remember it. His two shots were both pathetic. He was average and carried by Enrique, who had a fucking subliminal game. and yet Barton hit the first man with his corner 4 or 5 times which is far worse IMO. Fair enough, I thought Barton had a poor game by his standards this season. He still managed to set up Best, where he really should have done better, and the Colo corner was terrific as well. As only against Fulham we've played badly in the league this year.
BONTEMPI
Hope Ireland can still shoot as our forward line is a fucking embarrassment. And please Ben Arfa come back soon. Why Pardew didn't just play Nolan off Best and had Guthrie in midfield to start. Then Swap Best with Ranger later on is beyond me.

Probably because Nolan is a better centre midfielder than Guthrie and cause Nolan isn't very effective behind a lone striker.
