Odd one Everton, could turn up and play very well or equally be utter shit. Another draw 1-1

Just been reading Grand Old Team, they don't seem too optimistic and it seems like this season has worn them down a fair bit

A nice tactical preview for the game from a lad on their forum, shame the local paper seems committed to stealing all his hard work:

Mate, you seriously need to have a word with the Echo ripping your stuff off: http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/evert...52-28283010/2/

You from Thursday: "Tiote has screened the defence well, winning more tackles than any other NUFC player with a completion rate of 77%, he is tidy in possession also as the below chalkboard shows. Whilst impressive in the tackle, his completion is quite a way behind Seamus Coleman, comfortably our best tackler with a success rate of 88%."

Echo from Today: "Tiote has screened the defence well in the role Marouane Fellaini has sparked for the Blues in, winning more tackles than any other Newcastle player with a completion rate of 77%, while remaining tidy in possession. But while Tiote is a top tackler, he is not as effective as Seamus Coleman...with a success rate in terms of challenges of 88%, he puts many other opponents in the shade."

You from Thursday: "St James Park has seen more Premier League goals than any other ground this season, with 51 being scored in total, an average of 3.6 per game."

Echo from Today: "St James Park has seen more Premier League goals than any other ground this season, with 51 being scored in total, an average of 3.6 per game."

You from Thursday: "With Cahill and Fellaini out injured David Moyes doesn’t really have too much in terms of selection dilemmas for this match "

Echo from Today: "With Tim Cahill and Marouane Fellaini out injured, the team almost picks itself"

You from Thursday: "Newcastle can often keep a high defensive line and this could present us with an opportunity with Beckford and Coleman’s pace in behind"

Echo from Today: "Newcastle often keep a high defensive line and this could present Beckford with the perfect chance to use his pace and make amends."

You from Thursday: "I have been reliably informed from a Newcastle fanzine that the Toon haven’t recorded a home top flight win on a Saturday 3pm kick off for 2.5 years!…a record stretching back to 23 Aug 2008."

Echo from Today: "The omens may slightly be in their favour. Newcastle have not won a Saturday home game with a 3pm kick-off in the Premier League for two and a half years – a record stretching back to August 23, 2008."

You from Thursday: "the consistently excellent Enrique at left back."

Echo from Today: "United have their own consistently impressive left back in Spaniard Enrique".

...that's a scandal, in my opinion. It's not the first time I've noticed this plagiarism. You should at least be getting a namecheck. They're taking the piss.

It's not plagiarism if they're facts tbh, the opta stats are widely available, and anyone with GCSE maths should be able to do the rest. His statements are pretty thin anyway, not like he's Shakespeare. :)
