Mick
Young lad learning is trade, the decision making will get better, he is going to be some player for us.. NO DOUBT. He'll more than likely be the same type of player as his big brother, who he resembles as a player at the same age.
maybe_next_year
Not on the bench tonight, one of the players Pardew was dissapointed in maybe?
Jack Flash
Ferguson, Marveaux and Shola are probably just better attacking options. You're still right though.
Yorkie
Glad there's no danger of him making an appearance tonight tbh. I've still got hope for him but he provides nothing atm.
ponsaelius
Well yeah he hooked him off at half time didn't he. Victimising and then punishing the youngster thrown in at the deep end who should probably be out on loan, just months after bigging him up. Doesn't come across as fantatsic man management. Yorkie
Is there any evidence of victimising and punishing him? I was completely oblivious to the Bordeaux game (result aside), so there may be - but he was bigging up all the youngsters after Wigan.

Would you call it fantastic man management for Pardew to give Sammy a place on the bench with no intention of using him? I'm sure Pardew has talked to Sammy. Sammy hasn't really done it in his appearances. He does need to go out on loan and there's no shame in that.
bulivye
granted was a fine effort that hit the post today, but his tracking & overall defending cost us today, imo!

bulivye
i'm wondering the reason for bringing him on at all then?
themanupstairs
A few stunning runs last night with very little end product. We MUST do something to bring this lad on. He either needs to go out on loan, or start in a long stretch of matches. Pardew and the staff must decide what his best position is, and play him there regularly, or strike a deal with a loan club who will play him in that position. Would be a great shame if his talent goes to waste.
Cajun
Yeah could do with a loan, very raw but obviously has the ability to make space whether it's a nice trick or just clumsily getting past players with over-hit knock ons that he is quick enough to retrieve. Dangerous in the same 'what the fuck is this bloke doing!?' way, needs game time to make it more than that.
Jack Flash
Apart from that 1 goal in the cup, his shooting is as bad as I've ever seen There's no power at all in those little legs.

Chase
This guy seems to regress with every game, he's getting worse and worse.
Tooj
Worse than shit! Have a word with yourself. He is a young lad learning his trade who has been thrust in at a level he's not yet ready for. He needs to go out on loan but due to our ineptitude in building a squad he hasn't been allowed to do so. Some of our fans have a terrible attitude towards some of our younger players who aren't yet ready for first team football. Some might never be ready but to hurl such abuse at them isn't going to help is it?
