Kanj
He's the man, he and Sissoko need to be 1 and 2 on the team sheet
AyeDubbleYoo
Formidable.
SGSC
Was fantastic today. You'd think he couldn't be dropped after a performance like this.
themanupstairs
Superb yet again. Looking an absolute beast in there. I'm confident he'll score soon as well.
Mole_Toonfan
Hopefully he pushes Colback out when Tiote returns. I'd play neither of them tbh, Ayoze, Cabella and Aarons behind Cisse.
Guest
Fuck sake, he's so dropped for Tiote isn't he. Unless Sissoko ends up back on the wing.
Kanj
I hope this isn't like Mapou - who if you recall, was in the team that beat Chelsea & Spurs, right?
Twinport53
Sell Tiote in January, gan on Mehdi son.
Guest
Have Algeria qualified for the ACoN?
Kanj
I'm seriously overjoyed by this; he worked his ass off to get into this squad. Always seemed to have the blocks stacked up against him and when called upon against City and Liverpool, he put in 2 (IMO) MOTM performances, against midfields with far better talent and movement about them. Proud man, very proud.
The College Dropout
I hope this isn't like Mapou - who if you recall, was in the team that beat Chelsea & Spurs, right? Mapou was pretty solid. We wore torn wide open by Spurs many times. Abeid has been rather.... excellent tbh.
Dino
Have Algeria qualified for the ACoN? Yes, but he has not been a part of the national team. Maybe he will after these performances, though. He is in the pre-squad for the matches against Ethiopia and Mali later this month.
maybe_next_year
Sounded really good in his interview on the radio, really humble.
Ikon
Looks very strong as well. His thighs have grown quite a bit.
The College Dropout
Algeria are pretty well stocked in midfield aren't they?
Sammys_Tekkers
Glad to hear he did well. Only managed to watch the second half and he was quite impressive in that. Delighted that he got MoTM, hopefully will start next week as well.
Willow
Chuffed he's getting some proper game time, seems to be very worthy of starting right now
tmonkey
Early days of course, but he's looked quite a bit better than Tiote in these two games imo. Looks very switched on positionally, makes useful tackles and interceptions like a good ball winner should without taking silly risks, seems smart under pressure, and plays simple passes with hints of decent ability to spread the ball into space. Pretty much what you want in a good sitting midfielder. Fully deserves a run of games in the first team now. Would be great if what we've seen is his actual playing level. Would be even better if Pardew doesn't fuck this up by going for his favorites.
Guest Recoba
Excellent player. Shows up Anita for the lightweight he is.
TRon
He reads the game well, picks a pass well and is strong in the tackle. He has the attributes to be a top defensive midfielder. I fucking love the kid I think he's only going to get better, getting games in the premier league will bring him on leaps and bounds. Been boss against two of the best sides in the league which augurs well for the future.
joeyt
Great game today, bar a couple of dodgy minutes after HT. Always wanted this guy to come good
Disco
Great game today, bar a couple of dodgy minutes after HT. Always wanted this guy to come good The first pass in to his was fucking asking for trouble in fairness. Biggest positive from my POV even after he'd lost he didn't hide, kept dropping off and showing for it, using it quick and well.
TRon
He seems to be everywhere, I'd love to see the stats for how much ground he covers. Every time you see the opposition on the ball he's in there snapping at their heels.
mozy
He's strong as fuck as well which is a bonus. Cant remember who it was but he absolutely bossed someone in a 50/50 shoulder challenge.
Twinport53
He's strong as f*** as well which is a bonus. Cant remember who it was but he absolutely bossed someone in a 50/50 shoulder challenge. Lovren.
