Ketsbaia
Anita is the real loser here, he'll be 5th choice CM under Pardew. We've got an exciting squad and it's finally showing.
Kanji
I love little Vurn too, shame. But I'd rather play another attacking player than 3 central players if that means we can get Aarons, Cabella, De Jong, and Cisse/Perez on the pitch. We need 2 wide players, a #10 and striker if we want to look remotely threatening.
TRon
Anita is the real loser here, he'll be 5th choice CM under Pardew. We've got an exciting squad and it's finally showing. Anita isn't really suited to the way we play under Pardew though, he'd look much better in a tiki taki passing side, our game is more about sitting back, tackling hard then hitting on the break. I just think that the likes of Abeid and Tiote are better suited to midfield dogfights that we end up with in our current formation.
The College Dropout
Tbf it's not all Pardew's fault. Anita isn't suited to 70% of PL midfields. Arsenal, Swansea, Liverpool & Southampton perhaps - that's it. Wouldn't see Mourinho or SAF go for a lad of his style and type without changing a lot of his game. Ketsbaia
I quite like Anita but wouldn't be too devastated if he left, unlike Ben Arfa and Yanga-Mbiwa. The question is whether Abeid is the real deal, or within a purple patch.
Ikon
I do not want us to sell Anita! We need some depth as well.
Ketsbaia
Well yeah, but Ashley doesnt do depth. 4 CBs was too much, apparently.

Guest palnese
Never really rated this lad and then he comes in and plays like this. Looks like a proper modern DM. Calm, good on the ball, never hides, clever and is a decent ball winner. Very, very impressed with him over the last few weeks.

Newcastle Fan
What an incredible player, not a single goal conceded since he came in the side and absolutely bossed three midfields.
Mole_Toonfan
Why the fuck did it take Pardew this fucking long to give him a chance?
Minhosa
As good as Janmaat was today, this fella was still my MOTM.

AyeDubbleYoo
Liked how he was coming deep and offering for the ball to stop the hoofing.
hakka
With Abeid here, I don't see why Colback needs to play at the same time really. We could be making that spot a more advanced position for Anita to link things up.
TRon
Quite incredible how many times he goes into the mix and comes away with the ball. Apart from anything else he's just a very effective ball winner.
