Ronaldo
Thanks. Eto'o's the better forward, no doubt, but he doesn't strike a ball as well as Drogba and doesn't bring the ball down and bring his teammates into the game as well as Didier. Guest MrSundlofer
Eto'o has never been as polished a footballer as Drogba. It's clear you favors Drogba, and Drogba is a world class forward, but if we ignore personal opinions, Eto'o is the better player. Ronaldo
Cool. Drogba's still the better footballer.
Neil
Drogba edges it for me due to what he brings as well as goals. Eto'o has been outstanding for many years - his pace, reactions and extremely quick movement was sensational - but Drogba has given more to his respective teams than Eto'o has I reckon. Technically Drogba was better, also.

Ronaldo
Cool. Drogba's still the better footballer. Great argument. Colocho in disguise. I've already put forward the reasons I think Drogba edges it. Feel free to read them.
Mr. Snrub
Drogba edges it for me due to what he brings as well as goals. Eto'o has been outstanding for many years - his pace, reactions and extremely quick movement was sensational - but Drogba has given more to his respective teams than Eto'o has I reckon. Technically Drogba was better, also. If that was true Chelsea would have won a Champions League by now. Eto'o on the other hand has scored in 2 CL finals on 2 different occasions and always shows up when it matters. If scoring a load more goals and winning a load more trophies on the very highest stage doesn't prove he's better, then I really don't know what does. Beren
Stats and accolades are useful indicators, but they're not a fitting substitute for observations of players playing the game ffs. You'd think Wes Brown was better than Colo on that basis Drog is a better footballer than Eto'o IMO, but is in the second tier of all-time Premiership strikers, not with the top tier of Shearer, Henry etc.

Mr. Snrub
Eto'o was often asked to play out wide because of his tremendous work rate for the team and willingness to track back.
