Disco
Valencia is like a pacier version of Nobby. Doesn't need tricks because he has the technique, footballing brain and consistant end product.

Anderson
Prefer Valencia to Nani personally. More importantly, so does Fergie. Can imagine with this, plus the acquisition of Kagawa, one of, if not both, Nani and Young will be shown the door.
Wisdom Body
Man United have apparently agreed a fee in the region of thirty million quid for Lucas. Risky stuff. I'd say it's risky. He seems a bit monodimensional to me; his main trick being using his blistering pace to make Kaká-like runs into the box. Seems to be the sort of player who'd fit better in a mainly counter-attacking team, although Fergie might help develop him. Not sure about him or Neymar being the 'new Denilson', but I reckon Ganso would be the 'new Riquelme' in Europe. I also don't know what Kagawa has to do with Nani and Valencia, considering that in his natural position at Man Utd there's also the ogreish figure of Rooney. ponsaelius
I said Moura was the new Denilson btw, not Neymar. I wasn't being completely serious either. Kagawa is a good signing considering it allows them to play Rooney further forward more. Definitely don't see him playing out wide too much. Still don't understand why they are completely ignoring central midfield again.
Mole_Toonfan
BTW has anyone considering the insane possibility that Fergie could use Valencia as an attacking RB with Moura in front of him and Nani or Young on the left?
Dinho lad
Moura seems to have the technical and physical attributes to do well in the PL. 30m is still a lot of though.

ponsaelius
Tim Vickery who I tend to listen to quite seriously on South American stuff has always seemed to fancy Valencia as a central midfielder. Not convinced myself personally, but interesting suggestion.

None of these players impress me if you are trying to say they have the best front four in the world. Most top teams have similarly intimidating lines. Segun Oluwaniyi
I'm not convinced Kagawa is actually a world class player or someone who will consistently produce at the highest level of the game. I like his game, and he will have a long, productive career, but I don't think he is a truly special talent. His stature seems to have grown substantially because Man U signed him. stozo
Valencia Lucas Kagawa Rooney Dont see how anyone would really be able to beat that? Mata Oscar Hazard Torres Of the 8 that make up both of those front lines only half have ever kicked a ball in the Premier League and two of them have never played in Europe. A little bit early to be saying how great they are before they've even proven themselves in the league.

None of these players impress me if you are trying to say they have the best front four in the world. Most top teams have similarly intimidating lines. Was talking about the Premier League...Only comparable is City, but those guys have loads of potential behind them and their speed is frightening. If they click, then thats one of the best front four in the world. But I was talking about the Premier League obviously. City with Aguero - Tevez - Silva - Balottelli is very good, just think that the Man Utd four is stronger if they gel. Obviously Chelsea probably has the absolute best potential if Torres would come back to his old form.

Was going to do a Lucas/Kagawa on both positions as I feel it will be a lot of movement between them since none of them like staying in a fixed position so...
