Flip
So it's been confirmed that he refused to play and wants to leave? Didn't look like it when he came onto the pitch yesterday and his passing ability and vision made us more dangerous. Still prefer Anita next to Sissoko though, but I think the three of them could do an excellent job. No one knows really. You could speculate that based on Deschamps' remarks he had no choice but to play and to play well, but anything is just speculation unless he comes out with his side of the story. Thanks. Thought I'd missed something.
alexf
Don't think Cabaye was that good when he came on personally. Had one little drive forward and one surprisingly good corner but other than that it was a lot of balls dropped over the top that didn't reach anyone. Gouffran and Remy made the difference for me. He wasn't great, but his ability to be more direct rather than play the simple game suited us better when looking for the full points yesterday. It's his ability to pick out passes across the pitch and understand the others movement that helped us. Gouffran was once again very dangerous when he came on, but seems to be lacking confidence to get that goal. Feel like there will be a big deal made out of the next time Gouffran scores from both the players and the fans. feel for the guy and he needs a goal. There's a difference in my head in being great individually and having subs being excellent by impacting the game in a way that brought us three points. So, I'll keep to that opinion. Thomson Mouse
Why can't we agree a deal and personal terms etc and then hold the deal until we get the cabaye money guaranteed if thats the case? Absolutely this. There is no-one else coming in and tbh I'll be surprised if Cabaye goes.

Guest hatem garrincha
I see what you mean but I was talking about his influence on the field. I thought he liberated some players yesterday when he came in, including Hatem.

Ste
I want him to stay but looking at who we've brought in, as an ambitious French international I would be wanting to move also. Huge shame we can't match the ambition of our better players.

AlanSkÃrare
Asking them to put up or shit up yesterday etc. is just our way of trying to rekindle their interest. They want nothing more than to cash in.

I did think this until they brought Flamini in, with Wilshire, Ramsey, Flamini, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Diaby, Cazorla and Arteta. I dont see why they would need or want another in there.
