Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)

This is the most hopeful part of that piece, albeit probably bullshit.

It is an unfortunate development given his importance to Newcastle and boss Pardew, who knows that the team’s priority over pre-season is to strike on a system that allows them to dominate possession and set the tempo of matches on their own terms.

The Journal understands that one of the issues raised during the end-of-season meetings between Mike Ashley, Pardew and former managing director Derek Llambias was that United seemed to set up to combat the opposition’s tactics rather than setting out to play their own game.

It's as if they read forums and write what people want to hear....

Also, as if Pardew could change that even if he wanted to, it's not his way and we all read (just yesterday) about how "anybody who knows me knows that I won’t be swayed in any way when it comes to what I think is right, unless there's clarity to it"

Thats come from Pardew saying he set up against City and worried more about them than us. Its as if they've just took that and turned it into a story.

Moyes orders a Cab! United ready to make move for Newcastle star Yohan Cabaye

DAVID MOYES will swoop for Yohan Cabaye if he misses out on signing Cesc Fabregas or Marouane Fellaini.

The Manchester United boss wants to bring in two midfielders, with Barcelona star Fabregas the top target.

Everton ace Fellaini is next on his wish-list, while Franceinternational Cabaye brings up the rear.

United are not giving up in their pursuit of Fabregas but their hopes of signing him suffered a blow when Barcelona turned down their £26m bid.

According to coach Tito Vilanova, Fabregas does not want a move away.

Newcastle are aware of United's interest in Cabaye, who is also on the radar of French rich boys Monaco and Paris St-Germain.

PSG boss Laurent Blanc has publicly stated his admiration for the 27-year-old France international, who he handed his first cap to for the national team.

The comments angered Newcastle manager Alan Pardew, who fears he could lose Cabaye and has lined up James McCarthy as a replacement.

Cabaye signed for Newcastle from Lille for £4m in 2011 and is now valued at more than £20m.
