May this tweet never be deleted.

Club didn’t start using the @nufc handle until 2014, it was used by a randomer before then. You would have thought they would have deleted all previous tweets when they took it over

Every reply to that tweet in 2012 seem to think it’s the official account

Someone found articles from the time, definitely the official Twitter https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/newcastle-start-twitter-row-with-fan-1321807

Wraith, an actor and event promoter, published a claim that he’d “heard that the rumours of player unrest are allegedly true and that reluctance to buy has upset certain players,” to his 6,500 followers.

He added: “It’s a shame because after last season we should be building on the success and we just haven’t. It’s all about saving money. As a club £nufc look set up for a fall again. Threadbare squad and alleged player unrest is a recipe for disaster.”

But in a swift rebuttal, that opened up the claims to it’s 106,000 followers, the @NUFCOfficial account hit back.

The club wrote: “Here we are again, @stevewraith attempting to disrupt the club with unnecessary negative comment. Would have thought league success and a return to European football is worthy of positive comment.

Guest HTT II

He’s always been a decent player, but just average in that sense of player if that makes sense, especially towards the end of his career when we started producing more technical players.

Klopp will be all over that.

I’d be very surprised if Liverpool don’t have or didn’t have similar clauses in the likes of Mane & Van Dijk’s.

Looks like an exaggeration, 25m is the total success-based bonus, not just for one Premier league win

As per a report by Football Insider, the initial cost for Manchester City is believed to be £75 million with a further £25 million attached as success-based incentives.

These incentives would typically cover aspects such as Premier League title wins, Champions League wins, as well as overall appearances made by Jack Grealish at Manchester City during his time with the club.

Should do what they do in Spain, basically offer the Villa players millions if they win.
