Will be decent for us if he stays fit.

Canny He looked good the few times I saw West Ham the back end of last season, would be happy with this signing.
Frazzle
When I saw him for West Ham he looked good and wondered why we weren't in for him in January. But his knee worries me still. Fair enough if we've got clauses regarding this in the contract but it still doesn't help us if we're one striker down come November... Obviously serious injury can happen to anyone but its still a little worrying.

And all the French lads we're bringing in. why would we be willing to pay more than them though? We've got more money than them. Plus we'll shed the best part of £8m a year from the wage bill with the departures of Barton, Nolan, Enrique and Smith.
taxfree
assuming he does join, what reason do we think he's chosen us over everton? Everton's lure is overrated on here. Even if they've ended above us for a good while, I'd say we've got just as big of a name as Everton out there. Ambitions, money and the French connection is possible specific reasons. Lush Vlad
Quite happy with this I must say. Good business. Still need a winger, a left back and another striker as a bare minimum, that's assuming nobody else leaves.......

Dave
I would be hugely surprised if the supposed £2m agent fee isn't making up at least part of the Nolan deal.
