Mr. Snrub
Didn't Douglas say we had agreed personal terms with him before this £6.5m bid was even lodged/accepted? Don't see why the deal should be held up.
Sifu
Didn't Douglas say we had agreed personal terms with him before this £6.5m bid was even lodged/accepted? Don't see why the deal should be held up. He did tweet that, hmm yeah there's no reason for the deal to not go through in the next few days...

Darth Crooks
Newcastle United FC not willing to give up on Paris Saint-Germain’s striker Mevlut Erding – Ligue 1 News Newly appointed Sporting Director of Paris Saint-Germain and former Internazionale coach, Leonardo, was recently seen in talks with Newcastle united FC for the transfer of the Turkish striker Mevlut Erding. In the 2009/10 season, Erding was third in the list of top scorers in the league. He scored 15 goals in 31 matches and received the Player of the year award from his Club in the same year. The Saint-Claude-born has great control of the ball and his sheer brilliance alone can win matches. English Premier League side Newcastle United FC are quite confident that they will be able to bring the Turkish international to the St. James Park. Alan Pardew, coach of The Magpies, had this to say, “We are working extremely hard to make the deal happen and I'm pretty happy with how things have gone so far.” Earlier this month, The Magpies had offered an official bid of 8.5 million Euros deal which was rejected by the youngster. The Brazilian midfielder is expected to sign four players in a few days. Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt, AS Roma winger Jeremy Menez, Valenciennes Football Club centre-back Milan Bisevac and ASSE’s defensive midfielder Blaise Matuidi are all touted to be arriving soon. Eh? Pardinho anyone?

eliassenfredrik
On the bench for PSG's friendly tonight. Of Course, they're playing 4-3-3 with Gameiro as the lone striker. Also, Hoarau is on the bench, so I'd say he's in a pretty hopeless situation. So, he wants to stay in Paris? http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQfiHFbxDgKHwirz4jprz64-kpUBko-CAwqrcLybQspZrJyW9T8&t=

Being 3rd/4th choice striker in a 1 man attack isn't going to be fun for him surely...
Fenham Mag
We should make a double swoop for Erding and Hoarau. This is based on FIFA alone.

eliassenfredrik
I wouldn't put much stock in starting XIs for a friendly. Well, PSG are pretty much putting out they're strongest eleven today, with the new signings and all.
eliassenfredrik
Also both Gameiro and Hoarau (x2) has scored. He has to get out of there.
