Colocho
ITKs were right. Gervinho will be playing at St James' on the first day of the season.
Jack Flash
I dont why, but im not looking forward to the new season like i usually do. Honestly think its going to be one long struggle. Looking at the fixtures we could have a fairly decent points total going into November.
Guest
If we can get 10 points from those first 6 we'll have done well.
Dr Venkman
I'm happy playing the mackems early like, I think we'll carry on the positivity from last season and their terrible run might be hanging around a bit. Also they're still desperate for 'revenge'
Belfast Boy
Jan/Feb could be a lot worse when we will be missing a few at the ACN
Jack Flash
If we can get 10 points from those first 6 we'll have done well. Maybe I'm being overly optimistic but there's some very winnable games in there.

Disco
Mackems game best be on the gogglebox this time round. Missed our goal last year as the river ran dry.

BleedsBlackAndWhite
Great set of game's to start the season off, hopefully we can get some decent point's on the board to kick start our season and push on. A good start and you never know what the season may hold for us
Ashley17
Can't decide if playing the mackems that early is good news or not. Got to imagine neither side will be "complete" half way through August, despite Pardew's talk about getting a squad in place before pre-season tour to USA. Could be interesting, hope Ben Arfa is in the groove by then
nufcjb
Have they said when the TV fixtures will be announced. Need to start organising trains and the like for the first few games. Based on last season, it was mid-July..
Neil
Even by our standards, we surely can get some points in the first 5 games? Right? I'm sure the final day clash will be, er, vital.
Jordan
December's looking like a good month to pick points up.

JH
Can't see us beating Arsenal like. Can imagine they'll be ridiculously up for it, following last season's charade.
Neil
There's every chance you can get something off Arsenal again. If you could choose a "top 4" fixture to have, it'd be Arsenal at home.
