Guest palnese
Has to play every game, in a front three or in the middle.

Yorkie
He's just got to be in the team, especially when Hatem's not there. Surprised he didn't get injured tbh.

Dr Venkman
Lovely little player, just absolutely no excuse for Jonas being in the team ahead of him.
Guest bimpy474
Lovely little player, just absolutely no excuse for Jonas being in the team ahead of him. Workrate son. you no nothing of modern football. Alan Pardew aged 51 and half.
toontownman
While I don't agree that Guti should start ahead of marveaux, the latter can certainly improve his workrate. There is no excuse to be a pedestrian of ameobi proportions when not on the ball. The problem with marveaux playing central is that we need him to attacking constantly through the centre, while he prefers to sit back and dictate a pass. Until we sign a proper box to box attacking central mid to replace Nolan then we have square pegs in round holes, missing a central attacking dimension. Hoping to see marveaux really cement himself in the line up now Guti is out.

madras
^ not sure marveaux would work in a middle 3 and wasn't there talk that he'd be a makeweight in any remy deal ?
Mole_Toonfan
Marv looked bloody good in a middle 3 against wigan tbf. Anyway i wouldn't to give Marv to OM part of any deal for Remy. What that basically says is Marv and Ba plus cash for Remy.... Now Remy is good but im not convinced he's THAT good.

Mole_Toonfan
It was basically same role as Cabaye played end of last season im quite confident in him performing there if theres 2 holding players behind him.
Kanj
I'd like to actually see is retain Sylvain, as long as he can stay fit through this period and continue to show his potential. He's very smooth on the ball, tends to make the right decision and is one helluva skilled player.
Weezertron
I know it's naive but am I the only one that doesn't give a shit about workrate? I just want a team that can ruin the opposition. We will win enough games being attacking as fuck.
madras
in tiote, cabaye and anita we have enough workrate anyway.
colinmk
Need a squad of both to do well these days really.
Kanj
in tiote, cabaye and anita we have enough workrate anyway. In that midfield 3 you have enough passers, tacklers, and grafters in there to do the dirty work, collect from the back, and get the ball to the front 3. Yorkie
Agreed, absolutely shitloads of potential in that triumvirate. All it needs is for Tiote not to be as thick as shit, and Cabaye to actually play football to the level he can (as opposed to the petulant shite). Interpolic
Marveaux definitely looked to have played in a middle 3 vs Wigan to me, although it would be strange and probably impossible for madras to be wrong about something.
cubaricho
This dude can also take a mean free-kick, which is more than we can say for the rest of our squad.
