Neil Posted January 11, 2012 Share Posted January 11, 2012 The way things are panning out, Spurs might just be travelling to Man City (the game after next) at the right time. Get something there and they're in with a shout. I think everyone - including myself - expects them to sort of trail away a bit. But they aren't showing any signs of it and with only the FA Cup as another competition, they squad shouldn't be getting too stretched. Joe Cole scored. He's been impressive this season, and I would look into putting him into the squad if I had any desire for England to meet success. Apparently it's because of that attitude they won I agree with you though, almost threw it away due to their approach at the end. They didn't take advantage of that Savic fella at all. The best counter attacking side in the country wasn't playing tonight. City were piss poor and there for the taking. There's a big difference between going gung ho and playing 11 defenders.
